The presentation alone is worth mentioning: vibrant colors, smooth textures, and a huge variety of flavors that look as good as they taste. The shop itself is spotless and beautifully arranged, with rows of gelato, macarons, and treats that make it hard to choose just one thing. The staff were friendly and patient while I sampled and decided. I ended up with a mix of flavors, and every one was delicious. This is the kind of place you walk into for “just a quick treat” and walk out already planning your next visit. Highly recommend Amorino if you want top‑tier gelato and a great overall experience.

Stopped by Amorino late at night and was surprised to see how lively and packed it still was. Even with the crowd, the line moved quickly—we waited less than 10 minutes, which was impressive. The gelato was really good, with rich flavors and a smooth texture. My partner also tried their latte and said it was great, which made the visit even better. The location is super convenient too—just a few minutes’ walk from our hotel and very close to the Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park. Overall, a great spot for a late-night dessert run. After visiting two times, I can only say that Marie does one of the best lattes in Chicago! Great execution with a really, really good flavor profile and depth. She and her colleagues also do a great job in managing the crowds. As this place on Michigan Avenue is located in the vicinity of several major tourist spots (Art Institute, Millennium Park, Bean) it can get quite busy, especially on afternoons with good weather. The staff is really working hard to give everyone quick and friendly service. While most patrons come for Amorino’s many different sorts of ice cream, I can only recommend trying their coffee drinks as well. For those wanting to stay a little bit longer, there is plenty of seating in a cozy atmosphere. If you manage to snag a seat close to the windows, this is also a great spot for people-watching on the lively corner of Michigan and Monroe.
