Houston - River Oaks District

What was wrong with the old fashioned ordering system?? Did not love the kiosk style ordering here and I imagine it’s even more of a cluster later in the evening when there is a long line. We popped in around 7:30 on Friday evening. Service was very friendly and they let you try as many flavors as you want even after you place your order on the kiosk. I got the dark chocolate gianduiotto gelato which is perfect if you really want just a bite of something. My husband got a cup with stracciatella, pistachio and hazelnut. He said that the stracciatella was icier than he would have liked for but he really enjoyed the pistachio and said that the hazelnut flavor really slapped.

Ordered a hot chocolate here and it was pretty decent. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our request for a toddler friendly drink and my son loved it. Limited paid street parking and Plenty of parking available but it’s inside a building and also paid I believe. But the street is very cute and perfect for instagram aesthetic photos and plenty of other stores nearby as well for a lovely evening stroll while you enjoy your desserts.

Ambiance is on point, really makes you want to stay and enjoy your dessert. The gelato is smooth, creamy, and tastes amazing no matter which flavor you try. I also love the macarons—they’re the perfect little extra treat. And if you haven’t tried the gelato drinks yet, you’re missing out.

Staff was super helpful and polite and the ice cream was very rich and delicious . Prices comparable to the quality which is superb. Is paid in this location but only $2 for half an hour.

Some of their ice creams are really good. 1. Hazelnut chocolate is my fav. 4.5/5 2. Mascarpone and fig - 4/5 3. Caramel - this was okayish 3/5 4. Pistachio - I felt it had some bitter taste. 5. Chocolate amorino - tastes like dark bengian chocolate 4/5 6. Blueberry cheesecake - 4.5/5 The only mistake i did was to get a cone. The flower shaped formation melts quickly and spills but it looked pretty.
