Gelato Day: Celebrating the Art of Authentic Italian Gelato

Today, we celebrate Gelato Day.

The perfect occasion to reaffirm that our gelato goes far beyond a simple ice cream.

At Amorino, this vision, carried forward since 2002 by our founders Cristiano Sereni and Paolo Benassi, guides every decision. Their ambition was clear: to share a demanding Italian tradition where nothing is left to chance.

Less air incorporated, carefully balanced fat content, and a slightly higher serving temperature than traditional ice cream.
Precise choices that lead to an immediate result: a denser, silkier texture and flavours that express themselves with clarity and balance.

From this commitment was born our signature — gelato shaped into a rose, petal by petal — now iconic around the world.
And it is this same commitment that continues to be reflected in each of our creations, from macaron al gelato to our frozen desserts.

We do not simply celebrate gelato. We celebrate a particular way of making it.
