The Birth of a Delicious Story
It all began in 2002, in the heart of Paris, on the iconic Île Saint-Louis. In this timelessly charming neighborhood, a small shop opened its doors, sparking the curiosity of passersby.
Behind this adventure were two childhood friends, Cristiano Sereni and Paolo Benassi, united by a shared passion: Italy and its frozen treasure, gelato. Their ambition? To introduce Parisians to the true taste of Italian ice cream, crafted with exceptional expertise.
Very quickly, the magic happened: the concept captivated, ice cream lovers flocked in, and the story of Amorino took flight.

Our gelato is made with carefully selected ingredients of natural origin, without preservatives, colorants, or artificial flavors, to preserve the authenticity of the flavors.
At Amorino, each gelato is shaped with a spatula into a beautiful flower, a visual signature that delights both the eyes and the palate.
Everyone can create their own gelato rose by choosing as many flavors as petals. Served in a cup or cone, it’s also possible to add a gelato macaron or a gelato gianduiotto for an even more indulgent signature touch.
Open all year round, Amorino also offers a selection of hot and cold beverages, as well as customizable Milkshakes and Sorbet Drinks to suit your cravings.

Development and franchises
In 2006, Amorino began its expansion through franchising, gradually opening over 90 shops across France.
Two years later, in 2008, the first international franchise was launched in Barcelona. The brand then established itself in major cities such as New York, London, and Milan.
In 2014, the 100th shop was inaugurated.
By 2025, the brand has over 250 shops worldwide.

Amorino stands out for the quality of its products and its unique expertise. Its gelato, the brand’s signature product, delights with authentic and refined recipes.
Among the most popular flavors: Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, Mawardi Pistachio, “L’Inimitable,” the must-try chocolate and hazelnut recipe.
Not to mention our full-fruit sorbets: Mango and Strawberry.
Limited-edition creations enrich the range with original seasonal flavors: Mascarpone Fig, Pistachio Sorbet with a hint of Volterra salt, Sicilian Mandarin Sorbet and Pear Hibiscus Sorbet…
Some prove so popular they become permanent, such as the Lime Basil Sorbet.
It’s worth noting that all Amorino sorbets have been certified by The Vegan Society since 2016.
In 2013, Amorino introduced a major innovation with its Macaron al Gelato — the perfect fusion of French pastry and Italian gelato. Its success made it a must-have, leading to the launch in 2021 of the Macaron Grandioso, an XXL version for the most indulgent sweet lovers.
Gianduiotto al Gelato
This frozen treat is inspired by the famous Piedmontese chocolate and features a gelato center coated in a fine layer of chocolate, available in three delicious flavors: Dark chocolate & chocolate gelato for true chocolate lovers, Milk chocolate & hazelnut gelato for comforting sweetness and White chocolate & pistachio gelato for an extra indulgent touch.

On the café side, Amorino offers a wide selection of hot drinks, including its iconic Italian-style hot chocolate, rich, creamy, and best enjoyed with a spoon. Available in 10 flavors, it can be topped with homemade whipped cream and a variety of sauces for even more indulgence.

Anniversary
To celebrate its 20th anniversary in style, Amorino has decided to re-release an emblematic flavour, very dear to our founders:
The Amarenada, a revised gelato recipe with fior di latte and cherries combined with hazelnuts chips and dark chocolate flakes.
This flavour also is presented as a Grandioso gelato-filled macaron specially decorated for the 20th anniversary with a chocolate and vanilla shell.
