Amsterdam - Heisteeg

Visited Amorino, a gelato spot located in one of the narrow streets of Amsterdam. The place only offers takeout, but it still attracts plenty of visitors. The gelato itself was quite good, though a bit less thick and more on the milky side compared to others I’ve tried. The unique highlight is how they shape the gelato into a cute flower design, something you don’t usually find in other gelato places. It definitely adds a special touch to the experience. Overall, a great experience, both for the taste and the presentation.

They have very good gelato here! We came several times and tried different flavors — all of them were delicious and full of taste. The staff is friendly and service-minded, which adds to the nice atmosphere. You place your order through a kiosk machine, then choose your flavors at the gelato bar. The cones are beautiful — they shape them like flowers! I tried it once, but I noticed the gelato melts really fast in a cone, so I usually go for a cup instead. I’d give 5 stars for the taste and variety of flavors, but I’m giving 4 here because the prices are quite high. It’s not exactly the kind of place you’d visit every day for a treat.

Glad to find an Amorino here in the heart of Amsterdam. Had a pleasant visit today; the crew member was very kind and the store looked organized and clean. I had the brioche bun with ice cream; amazing choice to cope with this hot weather 😋

Amorino has the best pistachio and cherry gelato I've ever tasted in my life! The flavors are incredibly creamy and rich—I just can't get enough. It's always a delight to come back. On top of that, the way they craft the gelato into a beautiful rose shape adds such a special touch. Totally worth trying!

We each ordered a Classic Cone. First you use the ordering kiosk to place order & pay. Then, you go to counter to select the flavours. Technically you could choose many flavours but due to physical space constraint, not too many. The Chocolate and Mango Sorbet are wonderful.
