Amorino - Cardiff

We visited here Fri 26th July while out for the day in Cardiff. The touch screen ordering system was quite innovative and made ordering a lot easier and faster. However the service was very very very slow. There were two people ahead of us. One of waited 10 minutes for a two scoop tub, and it then didn't even arrive in the takeaway container he'd asked for. When he pointed that out the staff member looked at him like he'd been scraped off her shoe, and no attempt at an apology. We then waited a further 10 minutes for our three tubs which came out one at a time minutes apart. And it isn't like the place was busy at the time. When they did come out the staff were quite short with me and not at all engaging. Very poor customer service. The gelato however was very very nice. Deep and creamy with a good portion. The place itself was clean and tidy and nice. Would I return? Probably as the gelato was nice though perhaps on the pricey side. But I'd probably explore other gelato options in the area first also.

I recently visited Amorino Gelato and was blown away by the exceptional quality and flavor of their ice creams. It was one of the most delicious ice creams I’ve ever had. From what I know, this is the best quality gelato in town. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stumbled upon Amorino while exploring St David’s. We went in and absolutely loved the variety of gelato they had, and were blown away by how incredible and yummy it tasted. We even tried a few of the flavours before buying. This was an amazing experience as you could order gelato in a cup or cone. My husband opted for their cone and their signature is to serve the gelato in the shape of a rose. So beautiful. Definitely recommend their gelato and so worth it. Will be back there to try their drinks and more gelato.

I love this place, been their once and had the 3 scoop tub, Chocolate, Tirimisu and Vanilla. The quality of the ice cream is excellent, now any other ice cream I have from other ice cream stores tastes too sweet for me. The ice cream doesn't taste sweet at all and it's true to it's flavour, the chocolate taste is beautiful no over powering sweetness. The atmosphere and look of the place is aesthetically pleasing perfect for taking picture, doesnt feel dull or too colourfull. Employees were nice and kind. Worth it for the price, 100% recommended

The ordering system is very efficient - can order via a touch screen menu or in person at the counter. The range of flavours is very extensive. I tried the Stracciatella which was made with a very creamy melt in the mouth ice cream and luxury chocolate pieces - fabulous!
