New York Lincoln center

I think we have found our home in the city. The Empire was everything we wanted while spending a week in NYC. For a week's stay, we needed a suite and the room was perfect. We had one of the King Corner Suites and we couldn't have had a better room. The view on 2 sides was terrific - a view up Broadway and Columbus on one side, and Lincoln Center right outside our other 2 windows. And of course there was no better location in the city. Lots of natural light created a beautiful ambiance. Service was attentive and extremely friendly. We can't wait to return!

We were really pleased with this hotel. The location is perfect if you intend to use the subway. We didn't go to Lincoln Center but it's right across the street. The front desk is very helpful. I had a room with some problems and they found me a different room that was really nice. The bar upstairs has a great view, great drinks and great small bites. We'll be back.

Location, entrance, hall and reception 5* Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the rooms is not that good. Sometimes a powerful vacuum cleaner would help clean the rooms. There is no ventilation in the rooms and the air conditioning works intermittently and is very noisy. In our case, we managed to check in only after 4 p.m., even though we arrived around 1 p.m. and the receptionist promised that maybe we could check in sooner. But the view outside the windows was 6*

We had a wonderful week long stay at the Empire Hotel! The location is absolutely perfect; especially if you are a lover of the performing arts. The area is somewhat quiet and very safe with lots of nearby attractions and restaurants. The service was excellent! The only thing that would have made the stay better was having in room coffee. I would highly recommend the Empire to anyone planning a trip to NYC!

The hotel is in a prime location, clean for the most part, close to a lot of stores and food options. Decent price for rooms a night. No coffee or tea machines in the rooms or options for either at the hotel. Only basic channels to watch on the television and service are not compatible with mirroring your devices or streaming app features. There is no streaming app feature at all. Staff are friendly, helpful, and courteous. Check-in is at 3pm, our rooms were not available until 4:30pm. I would book again due to the prime location the hotel sits in; I now know what to expect and how to plan my stay in the future. It's definitely worth checking out.
