Apple Caramellata Macaron

Our new Apple Caramellata gelato between two delicate, sweet almond cookies.

The Canadia Grey Reinette comes from English Golden Russet apple trees. Its skin is slightly rough - the "russeting" designates today the rough skin which one finds on certain varieties of apples. Contrary to what its name suggests, it is not entirely gray but rather cinnamon colored. A very popular variety in the kitchen, it can be found in the preparation of desserts as well as in sweet and savory dishes. Rich in vitamins C and E, as well as in selenium (an antioxidant trace element), it's a real ally for your health!

La Canadian Grey Reinette is a sweet and fragrant apple, with a light acidity that's refreshing to the palate. It goes perfectly with the smooth texture of our caramel gelato enhanced with a hint of cinnamon.
