Biscotto Amaretto

The Ameretti cookie, an Italian tradition, are made from almonds and fluffy egg whites. Amaretti means "little bitter' in Italian, referring to their slightly bitter almond flavor.

This sweet, melt-in-your mouth classic Italian pastry finds it's full expression in our summer flavor. Try it with Amorino Chocolate, PIstachio, or Stracciatella for a classic combination; for something more daring, pair it with Bergamote, Lemon or Passion Fruit sorbets.
